Crulic: The Path To Beyond Anca Damian

Film index A to Z

Crulic: drumul spre dincolo

Over superb animated images, created using hybrid techniques involving drawing and photography, a voice speaks from beyond the grave. It is Crulic, a young Romanian who died in a Polish prison as the result of a hunger strike. Thanks to the genius of Anca Damian, he will never be forgotten.

Presented in collaboration with the Sommets du cinéma d'animation, the Cinémathèque québécoise, the Département d'histoire de l'art et d'études cinématographiques de l'Université de Montréal and the Observatoire du cinéma au Québec
