Student Jury

The RIDM Student Jury was inaugurated in 2014. The jury is composed of students from cegeps of the Greater Montreal and presents an award to a film from the Canadian Feature Competition. The winning film is screened in the participating cegeps between February and May of the next year.

 

The 2016 Student Jury included five students from Cégep André Laurendeau, Collège Maisonneuve, Cégep Marie-Victorin, Cégep Saint-Laurent and Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. The 2016 Student Award winner is Ressurecting Hassan by Carlo Guillermo Proto.

 

The 2015 Student Jury included five students from Cégep André Laurendeau, Collège Maisonneuve, Cégep Marie-Victorin, Cégep Saint-Laurent and Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. The 2015 Student Award winner is P.S. Jerusalem directed by Danae Elon.

 

The 2014 student jury included six students from Cégep André Laurendeau, Collège Maisonneuve, Cégep Marie-Victorin, Collège Rosemont, Cégep Saint-Laurent and Cégep Édouard-Montpetit. The 2014 Student Award winner is L'Oeuvre des jours by Bruno Baillargeon.

 

This initiative is part of the RIDM’s Youth Program, which includes a variety of outreach and awareness activities. It is supported by the CSN and Telefilm Canada.
